 Multiple Intelligence Academy is pleased to offer full day kindergarten program and kindergarten enrichment program (children enrolled in half-day kindergarten but seek enrichment and learning beyond the regular 2 ½ hour kindergarten school day). Multiple Intelligence Academy kindergarten programs emphasize developmentally appropriate activities, which address individual needs and differences of each student. Developed by experienced, certified teachers, Multiple Intelligences Academy kindergarten programs engage children in activities and extensions that emphasizes higher level thinking skills, creative thinking, academic skill development and imagination to help children learn and grow in an educational, dynamic and nurturing environment. Students will participate in daily activities that correlate with National Standards where they will enjoy exploring thematic units through active hands-on multiple intelligence activities in a child centered classroom. The curriculum will include reading (Superkids), language arts, writing, scientific discovery, socialization skills, mathematical concepts, sign language, drama, geography, PE, artistic expression, interactive play, gymnastics, foreign language (Spanish), Daily 5, and in and out of house field trips. M.I. Academy kindergarten programs provide an excellent educational foundation that nurtures and encourages children to be enthusiastic and life long learners.
